Ductboard
Ductboard is manufactured from a high quality glass wool board faced on the external surface with a reinforced aluminium foil vapour barrier. The product is lightweight and easy to install. Duct board air stream surface is faced with a black non-woven glass tissue. The product is mainly used as insulation for air conditioning and HVAC Systems. The boards are transported flat and assembled on-site. The boards can be used in conjuntion with metal or flexible duct working using simple connections techniques.
The products advantages are that it is ouderless, inert and fully compatible with all standard building materials and components. Ductboard will not promote corrosion with steel, copper or alluminium and definitely will not sustain vermin or breed fungi, moul or bacterial.
